I'm not.....going to fish really small and no way anything short of a week long rain does anything for lake level....it's too dry in the watershed...ground soaks it up and no run off

I wish they would have just taken the water out of the middle of the lake first.

Me too that way we'd have some grass beds and lilly pads to fish around the edge. It would just a little wierd running up an down hill across the lake. roflmao hammer breakdance
Wonder if we could talk AOC and her crew into introducing a bill in DC to get this done?

Despite how much the people around the lake complain about the water level, you won't see any brown lawns lake side.

Pretty sure Louie Gohmert has the better IQ to do what you want. . .

I thought they learned last time it got really low. No idea why anyone would pump water out of the shallow areas when the deep areas would make so much more sense.

I was thinking about trying to fish it this year since I have a place out here but looking at the boat ramps that is going to be a nightmare. I then rode over to LFM and was going to stop for a bite to eat but realized that there was no good place to be able to park the boat and thinking about the hourly weigh in and needing to beach a boat and get into the line, I think that is going to be horrible with the crowds. Never thought about how much usable area was lost when the lake level went down I may just skip the madness

When I fished the SOT this year I had to run my ZX200 aground out away from the shore line and wade to the bank to go to the weigh in area. I came prepared for that wearing my sandals instead of shoes. I figure with the lake being even lower I'd have to park even further out. Hopefully Fork will catch some rain between now and October.
