I love Fenwick Rods and have been using them for 30 years. I also used a set of 5 different top of the line Loomis Rods and broke them all. Left then in the tube when the warranty replaced them and sold them. I was lucky enough to find 4 more of the Finwick Technia rods before they were discontinued. Now they have come back to order. My wife bought me two Heavy 7'3" for Christman and have not used them. They are for sale for $200 each and you will really like them as I do. Just not fishing around DFW and more.

Absolute Junk. I have 2 and both look like they were assembled by a drunk monkey. Don't even get me started on their customer service. To the OP, there's a reason everyone tries to compare their rods to the NRX. When it comes to bottom contact sensitivity its hands down the best. In casting models I have the 852c, 853c, 854c (x2), 873 CRR (x2), and a 893c. If I was forced to pick just one it would be the 873 with the 854 being a close second. Are there rods out there that are prettier, yes. Are there rods out there with a better fit and finish, yes. Are there rods out there that balance better, yes. But none compare overall. I was trying to sound “cool”. Everyone is tired of me suggesting the bang for the buck of a lifetime Falcons. Haha. I’ve only seen the Edge rods in a store. I didn’t like the grips. I thought they felt horrible. I can honestly say I had a few of the older GLX and one green NRX. I didn’t like them much either. The new NRX+ feels legit, it my OCD can’t look at the different type of guides up and down the rod without getting dizzy and wanting to vomit. Yeh. Its like that for me. I would actually miss bites because I’d be STARING at the guides!

They weigh practically nothing which makes the overall weight of the rod less and because of the weight savings there’s more guides to help transmit feel.

Honestly I think it's not the arrow, it's the Indian.. I know many old men who could put a whipping on others with just about anything you put in their hand. But I do like a certain feel in a rod.. Too many broken hearts when I would break a rod I built, so I just stay with affordable rods.. Just my .02 ... 100% agree with the arrow vs Indian comment btw. That being said when you go from a broomstick to a sensitive rod it is like a whole new world being opened up. I started bass fishing in earnest in 2008 (grew up in PA slinging a fly rod for trout). Bought some Mojo bass rods at Bass Pro for $99 and some Quantum Accurist 5 bearing reels. They were ok but way stiff and no sensitivity. Bought a Kistler Helium LTA in 2012 or so for $249 I think and couldn't believe the difference. However, spending $500+ on a rod was beyond my comprehension.....then. Now of course, like many of the other addicts on here having been chasing that same jump in "a-ha" sensitivity I felt when I went from the Mojo to the Kistler. The NRX and the Xtasy are the two that most gave me that different feeling. Of course, the biggest fish I have caught (an 11.5) was on a chatterbait that I was throwing on a $99 Omen Black rod....so go figure.

The top two MOST SENSITIVE RODS are the Loomis (shimano) NRX and the Shimano poison adrena. The Adrena is lower in price than the NRX but I can't tell a difference in sensitivity between the two. Those two are the best if you are looking for sensitivity. Very close to them in sensitivity is the Megabass Destroyer.

The question was what is the most sensitive rod on the market.

Problem with it is that black carbon handle laying on the deck in the summer. Dang thing will darn near give you 3rd degree burns when you pick it up.

LOL I had a couple of the Chronarch D series the chrome looking ones and they were hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I no longer have those.

I guess I'm a NorthFork Composites fan boy I admitt. I have been building on these blanks for a while now and my arsenal is from another planet. I hate to be that guy who seems brag but the proof is in the pudding. Sure....the "Loomis" shimano NRX is dope AF but I can build three NFC Xrays for the price of one of them and the Xrays are as high modulous as you can find on the market. As a matter of fact Gary just came out with the new Xray series "X-Ray “C6O2” which is supposedly 30% lighter and 50% stronger than the current xray series. If that is true it is by far hands down the one rod to rule all. He is only offering it in a MB7'2"MH at the moment for 150 bucks. Its a no brainer. I will own one soon.

I have alot of rods and several NRX rods and they are by far the most sensitive rods that I've ever used.

The NRX is hard to beat for sensitivity. However, if you want one rod to rule them all, I'd suggest a Conquest. It's just as sensitive or dang close to the NRX, lighter, better balanced, more backbone, and overall a more versatile rod. Worth the extra dough? Probably not, but if you want the finest out there, a Conquest is hard to beat.
