This kind of news make me upset. This one reason why bass tournaments leave a bad impression on the public. I was planning to come over and fish Fairfield Wed. because Lake Waco is in real bad shape because of the drought.

You should go on Tuesday night. Let the locals show you where to go, then y’all can have fizzing classes at weigh in.

I heard it’s closing in September. But that is what I’ve heard…could be gossip. I heard it from the girls that work the park office.

Steez, Hey you might wanna know what your talking about before you drag someone into this. It was not the Fairfield bass club. It was a group of guys from the waxahachie area that did this tournament. You assuming is how bad info gets put out. Fairfield bass club fishes next weekend on cedar creek.

If was the Fairfield bass club. They copied the link from the waxahachie page and put it in their page. Then they showed up to fish. I got the story right.

Steez, only 2 out of the 12 boats that fished this tournament put on By the Waxahachie area working man’s group were Fairfield Bass Club members. And I know personally, those guys fish the Tuesday nighters and are versed at fizzing fish. The Fairfield Bass Club did post their flyer, cause some of us enjoy fishing other jackpots out there. Your more than welcome to come out to a Tuesday nighter and see how those fish are cared for.

I got my my own jackpot to fish on Tuesday…thanks for the invite though. I don’t think any of “my guys” caught anything big enough to be the fish in question. roflmao sad…but true.

I wish I was there, as I would have handled things a lot differently. Before, during, and after the weigh in. But, I was in Dallas working on my trolling motor. Those that know me know that I don’t put up with any [censored]. Period. If I was there, the floating fish would have been handled better as well. The OP would not have had to fizz fish. They would have been fizzed or kept to be cleaned. I don’t allow dead fish to be thrown out like they were trash. I wouldn’t have cared if it was my guys, or locals. I would have been the [censored] to start saying what needs to be done, then follow through so that it was done.

I got ya man. Just wanted to make sure that Fairfield Bass Club wasn’t getting any undue heat for fish care. We pride ourselves on fish care especially in these hot months.

I’m not wrong. I heard there was more than two teams from Fairfield. I also heard there were some bent outta shape guys. Some cry babies. Some whiners. Where you there? I heard there was one team that really was bitching about other teams.

Do y’all bitch about each other in tuesdays? Haha.

Again, if I was there it would have been different. I wouldn’t have allowed someone to launch from a different ramp. I wouldn’t have allowed the team that was passing within 10 ft of the other boat to get away with that. Rules are rules. We also had it posted that behind the buoys was off limits. Heard a Fairfield group was way up the intake channel.

Again. I want there. But I sure got an earful from all the guys afterwards. Maybe my guys were just sore losers? I dunno.

I’m with ya 100% on that one steez. I carry a fizz tool in my truck and boat. It’s amazing how many guys don’t know how to do it but I’m always willing to show whoever wants to learn.

Seen this at Squaw creek 2018? Fish that needed to be fizzed all over the ramp, we went a ahead a fizzed the ones we could reach. Some swam off fast some not so much, maybe saved a few but not all I'm sure. This is a good video to watch about fizzing bass
