It's pretty easy to tell the difference between a cell phone and DSLR camera. Plus, Elizabeth is a better photographer than me. Might be some drone footage coming.

lconn- Elizabeth said she would like to challenge you to a kayak race in any boat you currently own vs. her in any boat she currently owns. I almost responded as fast as I paddle but reread the post. Seems the wording might suggest she could use a power boat in which case I'm out. It would have to be a short race... say 60 yards max as I'm almost 67 and still smoke a pack and a half a day. No doubt in my mind with a little training I would smoke her if she is in the epic. I do like her confidence though! I'll have to think about it. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/I7NAsZw.gif)

She looks in paddling shape... I need time to get ready... mentally. It really sounds like a lose lose situation for me.. If I lose, I get beat by a woman. If I win, I'm the Lia Thomas of kayaking. I need to run this by my agents. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/08/full-76913-149282-emwbc36.jpg)

Wow, great pictures as always Sidetrax! Why are you calling Elizabeth sidetrax Tree? I'm so confused.

MATTA, MD, who was working in LA at the time, was the surgeon who put her back together. Her pelvis had to be rebuilt and she still has like 17-18 screws and some other bracing pieces in her pelvic region. Back in 2019, she had spinal fusion. I'm sure I'll get in trouble for this, but oh well, and she is 55. The race would probably need to be somewhere in the 100-300 yard range. I'm getting scared now. I have to overcome my recent heat stroke, irregular heart beat, early stage COPD against the Bionic Woman in a racing kayak? ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/ZJmYCiw.gif)

When she's in the right kayak, I can't keep up with her.

When she's in the right kayak, I can't keep up with her. Been thinking about where this race should take place... three hundred yards paddling is like the time and energy used in the mile run, even though I did have the stadium mile run record at the Vernon Relays at one time. That should scare her. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/08/full-76913-149539-lfbkahq.jpg) this course might work out well for me ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/08/full-76913-149540-yn1otya.jpg) or here I'm not in a race to keep up... I'm here to win. Not sure how the epic would work at Haulover Inlet, but on outgoing tide and strong incoming wind... I think I'd have a shot on race from bridge around the south end jetty and back. I should be in racing condition next fall... if you'll be kind enough to arrange the pay for view, I'll be ready. 50/50 split and I'm being generous!
