I'm surprised they haven't pinned the Le Brea tar pits on Exxon yet.

Exactly. Idiot climate cultists with the likes of Al Gore and Greta Thunberg as its leaders. Wow.

Fill the other with half air from your compressor and half C02 you get from your local weld shop. Throw the balls out in the sun, then use a thermal camera (those are cheap these days also) and measure the temp of the beach balls an hour later. The one with C02 will absolutely be hotter.

1 + 2 = Global warming. You can literally prove it in your back yard for about 20 bucks.

You rag me for being "unscientific" then turn around and sling this poo back? To be a progressive liberal, one must first be a flaming hypocrite.

Here's the real question there Poindexter, let's take your balloons. Now, for every 86,000 air molecules add ONE molecule of CO2. Now do your same test. Hmm, not going to turn out the same is it?

Here's where YOUR "science" fails.
There is no relevance of scale, "double the amount" doesn't mean anything when you're talking about the difference between 0.000003 and 0.000006. Neither one of them amount to mouse nuts.

Is the planet getting warmer? Maybe.
Is it because of your F150? Nope.
One volcano burp equals a hundred years combined carbon emissions from humans. And yet, we live on.

Here's where it becomes very clear, every doomsday predicting climate fanatic is convinced the only "cure" is to have complete central government control over your life. Not theirs, yours.

Every fanatic "scientist" has a just as qualified scientist with just as compelling evidence that is 180 degrees different. Why is that? It's because the fanatics are funded to prove a result that benefits the one funding the research.

Here's dissenting opinions. You might even learn something not revealed on NPR.

I had a woman tell me that seafood was going to be wiped out in the Gulf, probably up the east coast of Florida, and maybe up the Atlantic Seaboard. When I laughed she asked, "Have you seen how much oil is spewing out!?"

To which I asked, "Have you seen how big the Gulf of Mexico is? This isn't even equivalent to putting a medicine dropper in an Olympic pool."

Foolishness is applauded, considered virtuous by these zealots.

These threads sure help us find out who the liberals around here are. Some of them even call themselves conservatives, but we can see their true colors on full display.

Remember all the news and human interest stories about Hurricane Harvey? The Go Fund Me accounts? The saturation of coverage of how these global warming caused systems were going ti become more common and more devastating?

The intense cold and ice, and the blackouts caused by a lack of dependable electricity, killed a lot more people and created greater economic impact. Where was the national media obsession with that event? Why weren't we bombarded by stories about how we have never seen weather that cold in recorded human history?

Oh, that's right. Hurricanes fit the narrative. Intense cold doesn't.

In the last 20 years we have seen the coldest temperature ever recorded on Earth (Antarctica a few years ago) and all-time record polar ice. None of that fits the narrative, either.

It's a scam, a damn lie.

Wouldn't it have been nice if the grid had had a few more gigawatts of dependable electricity to spread around. We could have probably avoided the grid-ordered blackouts that let 251 Texans freeze to death and caused billions and billions of dollars of damage due to busted pipes, flooding, etc.

But that is a...what was Al Gore's term? Oh, yeah, an "inconvenient truth". Climate change policy isn't an abstract concept, it is a political movement that is killing people and destroying our economy right now.

Just think bout how clean the coal fired power plants could have been if we had spent all the incentives (over 2 billion) on Solar and Wind Farms, on Emission Scrubbing Technology for the Coal Plants. We could have had clean, dependable energy for decades.

Or maybe if those plants would have been converted to natural gas power plants.

As the leaders of our country attempt to "find solutions" to global warming, I thought this was an interesting listen.

Regardless of your opinion on whether climate change is man made or not, this is ridiculous if true.

It's more about believing in the proposed path to get there. All of the "green" solutions we now have, everything from the EPA, everything from the "save the earth" crowd is all about wealth distribution and empowering one group over another.

Personally, I've never had a problem trying to keep our environment clean. I just have a very big problem paying for programs that don't work, and an many cases create worse problems than they were intended to fix.

Based on years of posts, I would venture to say your take on the planet is not your only liberal opinion.

Our government is now saying that summers will just get hotter from now on. What about 1980 and 2011? We had plenty of normal ot even cooler then normal summers after those years.
