went to the creek last night and im starting to find some good honey holes and what not. Quite a bit of hiking to get to the spots, but well worth it. Caught around 10-12 fish today over the course of about an hour and a half plus quite a bit of hiking time. only got 7 pictures, but the few i missed were two bass a few green sunfish and a couple of baby hybrid sunfish... 5 of them were posted cause the other two were on my phone which got while wading through the creek and wont turn on anymore . Hopefully future trips remain without casualty. Rip iphone 6s 2015-2022

Side Note: How are the water bodies holding up in your area?

im just north of DFW so we havent had much rain in a hot minute either. creek level was low, but still very manageable. The nearby ponds arent holding up nearly as well and the bite is tough. glad to have this creek at about a 10 minutes walk from my house

Thanks for the information. Always love reports from other areas of the state! I have a spot also very close to where I live that is holding up well under the conditions. It could sure use a lot of RAIN!
