I live on Lake Tyler. It was recommended to have Andrew Golden in Joaquin install electronics. So I drove there two days ago and blew out the left front trailer tire. I was close enough to Walmart in Carthage to get the tools to change the tire. And I was able to limp in on three tires the two miles to the HEB parking lot in Carthage. I needed a ratchet and socket to get the spare off the trailer. I had every other tool. Today on the way home I had both the right side tires blow out/disintegrate. I was close enough to Henderson to fairly quickly get two new tires. It helps to be close to big towns. Anyway for those of you who may need to change tires after say five years like me, do it. My old Goodyear Marathon's couldn't handle to 150 degree pavement.
I had a Garmin 12 inch unit with LiveScope Plus mounted.

I made the mistake of buying Marathons once. Now I stick to Endurance as they can withstand the Texas heat and speed limits.

That is something I'll propbably need to do. My rig has Marathon raised white letter tires on it and they appear to be the original tires from 2012. The boat was barely used at all, real low hours when I got it. WIth all the horror stories I've heard about Marathon's I'm some what skiddish about towing my rig to Fork next week in this heat. I'll check the air pressures before we head out. Hopefully with the pressures correct they'll survive. For you guys worrying about your tires, they run a lot cooler properly inflated.

My Carlisle spare that I had been using since March separated tread on Saturday and blew out the back of my fender. So, yeah, I know about that.

Probably need to invest some of that electronics money on new tires……and the tools to change your tires? Sorry…….JK. Don’t use Steez for any “referrals” as reading his posts over the years he has tore up more chit than anyone I’ve ever heard of!🤔🤷🏻♂️🤪. Having had many, many trailer tire failures over many, many years with various brands I’m happy with my my Goodyear Endurance. Really like the 65psi for freeway speeds.

I switched to car tires. But never really had an issue with trailer tires other than availability

That’s a 10 year old Marathon that was used for about a year and moved to a spare after the others started popping.

I am doing the same thing, especially on my passenger side which sits in the PM sun for 4-5 hours a day.
