Great video. I always think that, if that ain’t biting on minnows they ain’t biting. But that is not always true. Also size down my minnows when I see tons of fry shad. I accidentally bought larger minnows and they just weren’t interested this weekend.

I have tried small baits before, and never really saw a difference. I use 2 inch baits, 1/4oz jig heads, #4 J hook all the time. But next time I go out I'm going to try smaller baits, really small, 1 inch, and I'll go 1/16oz jig head.

I'm ADD, so I have little patience waiting for a 1/16oz jig head float down 20 foot.. I like 1/4oz jig heads, they fly to the bottom making a bubble trail on its way down... clap

I like them to get down quick too, I peg a 1/16 or 1/8th oz sinker 12 inches above my jig. but it depends on the presentation,, if im lobbing the jig out to swing over the cover, or into the cover... I dont want it heavy. I want the crappie to see it fluttering into thier zone with time to trigger thier feed instinct.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
