With the criteria given by the OP, these may be the only two cars left standing. I can’t think of an American car made that would still have as much life left in them as these two should. I’d pick the Camry.

Thank you to everyone. Solid advice, Liked the radio check.. Looks likes she's getting the Camry.

Camry would be my choice but I have been a Toyota fan since I dumped Ford in 2004.

I have owned 6 Honda Accords and it will be my next purchase as well. I would get the Toyota though because of the price and milage. The Accord has to have the timing belt replaced around 100,000 miles, so it`s about time to replace it again.

With either one go to Best Buy and get a new radio that has Bluetooth. Did that for my daughter when she turned 16 and she loved the new radio as much as the car.

Accord will get better mpg. Camry will likely last longer.

Neither is a bad choice.

I'm about to be selling my 2014 Camry Hybrid with 160k miles for around that same price ($7k). Let me know if you're interested. It's a nice car - I just want something newer since I'm putting so many miles on it.

One has to be in better condition, but if i had to just blindly pick I would go with the Toyota.

At that mileage point, both vehicles have proven their longevity. They have obviously been maintained or they would not still be running past 150K.

IMO your biggest worry is the "soft" components. Switches, handles, lights, gages - things that are going to wear out and brake with age or use that is not necessarily directly tied to mileage. In that respect the 2007 year model has a slight advantage over the '04. If you can determine that one has been garage kept vs. one parked on the street that would factor in as well.

Make sure to check the Carfax to see which one had the best service record.

we had 2006 V/6 accord....great car...gave it to daughter three years ago and still running good with 125,000 miles....never spent anything on it besides regular maintenance and timing belt/plugs at 100,000 miles.......believe either car would be good choice....

My sister had a 2006 Accord V6...got over 200,000 miles before she gave it to her son. It was a great car.
