I'm siding with the OP. For those of you that say you'll have unpleasantries for me, I would be having unpleasantries with you first. If my lack of rest and sleep caused a fatigue call to my work I would lose about half a months pay. That is what I would be discussing with you. My work requires me to be fully rested with proper sleep to perform a full duty period of work-mostly staying up all night and managing an on going and ever dynamic environment along with personnel.

Whatever happened to being good neighbors? When I moved into my very small community I addressed my sleep situation with them. They were very accommodating. I don't expect them to run their lives around my schedule but maybe they could be helpful. It works both ways-with the 4th of July coming up there are going to be fireworks galore. I wouldn't dream of asking them to not celebrate with a fireworks display nor would I complain.
