I've recently purchased a new Rapala... to replace the one that won't weigh anything over 5 lbs... on the positive side, nothing weighs less than 3.5 lbs.

I have Berkley, Rapala, and a couple others and they all 3-5 oz off. I took all of them to the Tom Thumb store and carried a 10# bag of sugar to the meat market in a plastic grocery sack. I had them weigh it on their scale and then I weighed it on my scales. All the name brand scales were off mostly on the lighter side. I bought one of these off Amazon for $8.00 and it is the most accurate & repeatable scale I have ever owned. Instead of it bouncing back and forth between 8.60.. 8.20.. 8.90... and never locking in, this scale locks into place quickly. I carry 2 of them in my tackle bag. At that price you can buy a new one every few months.

I use the Rapala High Contrast. But this last weekend had 2 big fish and had to use Boga's cause the battery went out in the Rapala. Certified Boga's are always good and normally spot on.

I hav had one of the Rapala touch screen scales that stores weights with numbered slots to coincide with my culling tags for a couple of years. I bought a plastic waterproof clear box at Academy or Wal Mart to keep it in. I put some foam Paddington bottom of box and made sure the on/off button is not contacted when stored. I keep extra batteries underage foam. No issues at all. I testedit quite a bit after I bought it andevery so often with objects that I know the weight of. Pretty accurate. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Rapala_Touch_Screen_Tournament_Scale_15lb/descpage-RTDS.html
