I've got a 10 and a 9.6 on Fork crappie fishing.

Back in my catfishing days i caught some pretty big ones on trot lines, they really like live bream and crawfish.

Well seems not bass fishing is the best way to catch a DD

I have caught several nice bass, to maybe 5lbs fishing cut shad for catfish. It happened so often at one spot on Grapevine that I thought this is really not a bad way to target them. They were all nicer fish but not 10s. Never caught a small one on cut bait.

11.24 at Fork on an 1/8oz crappie jig probably 15 years ago. I haven’t chased bass on purpose in over 20 years! Never did catch one over 10 in the 20 years I did though. I’ve landed 3-4 over 10 crappie fishing though. All on Fork. Hardly catch a bass on Palestine crappie fishing.
