Jim White has announced his retirement.

I been listening to these Bozo's since 1982. Gonna miss this duo.

When I listened to FM I always loved Bo and Jim in the morning.

I used to listen to them when driving into work. One of them was starting to slur words a lot (I don’t know which one but I think it was Jim) and I always hoped that he wasn’t in failing mental health. I wish him the best

I have been listening to them since at lease 1984 if not 1982. They are a fixture in DFW radio and it won’t be the same but time stops for no one. I’m sure those early mornings have been ruff for all these years.

They were very stale toward the end.

They’re legendary but also should’ve retired over a decade ago. When Bo had his heart attack, I thought that would’ve been the time, but nope.

Bo and his wife shopped at a grocery store I managed back in the 80’s-
The wife worked for one of the local TV stations and was a wonderful lady-
Bo was way different than his radio personality, he usually just played space invaders and pac man up front while she shopped.
Nice guy just guess he liked to chill down after his shows-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

And yeah, they're long over due for retirement. They were one of the foundations of my upbringing in the 80's. Heard song I will never listen to the same again. Especially some of the Pinker & Bowden skits!

I’m sure they’re both great guys. Their show just isn’t for me. But, they’re legends regardless of my taste for their schtick.

Never listened to them, but my oldest sister did, so I know who they are. They've been around forever...kinda like when Terry Dorsey retired, just the ending of an era. I hope he is able to have a long retirement, unlike Mr Dorsey. This is also like when Dick Segal retired from WBAP. I believe Hal Jay is still on there, though. My childhood seems further away these days.

I listened to them some. My favorite morning show back in the day was Labella and Rody... [Linked Image]
