Thanks Curtis for the reply. So far I have not caught many Rios. Catching plenty of LMB, Bluegill, Redear, Hybrid SF, and Redbreast. Very few Rios. I will be fishing some better Rio populated spots soon.  Side Note: The sunfish bite has been GREAT at places where there are not many Rios. Thanks Chuck. I have been catching some nice Rios on Mcqueeney and further down the Guadalupe!

Curtis: Mcqueeney has a good population of Rios! I have several spots!

Banker I have a fond place in my heart for those rios. I'm pretty sure it was rios that lit up the San Marcos river almost a half century ago when I snorkled there! It was life with the Rios.

Banker I have a fond place in my heart for those rios. I'm pretty sure it was rios that lit up the San Marcos river almost a half century ago when I snorkled there! It was life with the Rios. Yes Sir. Rios are a very interesting fish to watch especially while on nest!

Thanks Gitter for the reply. Have not found that many Rios this year. A lot of my Rio spots are completely dried up.  Creeks and rivers are in bad shape. The drought has been bad on several of my fishing spots. The water bodies that are holding up, I am getting good quality fish (not Rios) in good numbers. Side Note: We NEED RAIN!  X3 Raindance.
