Wow! I've seen some road rage but nothing like today. I was headed into a construction area. The road goes from 2 lanes to 1. The guy in front of me is in a dually with a flat bed and full length headache rack. I honestly wasn't trying to be a jerk and it was nothing to get angry about. I couldn't see past him. I just know he's doing 40mph in a 45, so I decide to pass. I get beside him quick and there are 4-5 car lengths in front of him and a line of cars after that. I continue to pass. Well this Bozo gets butt hurt and hits the gass. I think he's bluffing so I keep going. He catches up and swerves at me several times, once hitting my side mirror. I don't know what he thought I would do. I had no where to go on my side as there is a concrete barrier to my left. We get past the one lane driving side by side. He gets in the right turn lane and I head 2 lanes over to the left. He almost hits 2 other vehicles trying to fight his way over back in front of me. He then jumps out of his truck and starts waving his arms and cussing. The whole time I have a 9mm in hand hoping he doesn't walk up to my truck because I did not want to shoot him. Finally, he speeds off. Unbelievable. crazy

I have road rage every time I drive 35 to Burnet. It is the idiots in the sports cars mostly that try to pass on the right. Just get in the left lane and deal with it. You don't need to be going 85 or 90. 80 will do fine.

I am seeing more and more aggressive driving lately. So many cars running red lights these days. Blatant disregard for safety. I saw a school bus run a red light the other day (no kids on it). I was shocked. I took note of the number but by the time I got home I forgot what it was

I get it frequently too but I'm fine with saying a few dirty words or shooting the bird.

Iโ€™m mostly off the road now, no commute, just local errands. When I do venture out away from the hood, itโ€™s worse then I can ever remember.

I drive Hwy 31 between Tyler and Kilgore quite a bit. The highway now has alternating passing lanes a lot of the way, two lanes eastbound and then two westbound, and so forth. Routinely I have some a-hole in the inside lane drive 50 yards behind me as I am in the outside lane. Then, just as my lane ends, he decides he has to pass me. Why couldn't he have done it in the previous two miles instead of giving me the choice of either being run off the road of slamming on my brakes?

This one doesn't make me as mad, just makes me wonder. I approach a red light with two lanes going my direction. One lane at the light is open. Just as I am almost there, a vehicle in the other lane swerves into it so it can be first at the light. When the light changes, he either sits at it reading his phone or accelerates at a blistering eight miles per hour, finally topping out at 34 in a 55. If you're going to drive that slowly, why do you need to be first in line? So everyone behind you can drive that slowly, too?

I know people have always sped, but it has become ridiculous. Try going 53 in a 45. People will blow by you like you're standing still despite the fact that deputies and DPS run radar and pull people over routinely in that area. What do these people do, set aside a 2 grand speeding ticket budget at the start of each year and then drive 30 mph over the limit all year long? I'm so sorry I am sometimes holding you up and that this awful thing is happening to you. I don't set the speed limits, but I do have to pay hundreds of dollars if I am pulled over for speeding. Wire $1,500 to $2,000 to me to cover my tickets and insurance rates and maybe we can work something out. Personally I almost never have anyplace to go that requires me to drive 95 in 65s. Apparently you do. You must be extremely important.

I kind of road-raged the other day, finally. So, I walked down the street where the bimbos live and put notes on their windshields to remind them that flashing red lights and the stop sign flap on a school bus means, STOP!

Since covid and working from home the last 2+ years, I've seen them drive by the bus that drops off the special needs (autistic) kid at his house across the street numerous times. Parents of kid has said nothing.

Dumbarse bimbos.

Me first attitude have taken over politeness. Personally I would have just cruised along behind him at 5 mph below the construction speed limit. Especially if lanes were about to narrow. Why does everyone drive like nothing matters more in this world than the vehicle they are in?

I kind of believe people should drive the speed limit but each to his own. If I got mad everytime I was passed, I'd be in 50 fist fights per day.

I've been involved with it a couple times over the last month.
Its been about people who think that moving over in traffic is a right when they don't have clearance.

The last one I was going 20 in traffic and no more than 8' behind the vehicle in front of me when a truck just started moving over. When I did not hit the brakes he started honking his horn and then went from the right of me to the median on my left, passing me and waving his middle finger at me. He made it about 5 cars up on the median then cut someone else off getting back in the traffic lane.
