It varies from store to store, but Academy has marked down some of their tackle. An employee told me that they're fixing to do inventory so I guess they rather sell it than count it. I also used the extra 10% discount. The markdowns were so random, like just the 15lb InvizX was on sale, the other spools were regular price.
Examples of my haul:
InvizX 15lb $6.99
Kietechs for $2.49
Covert spinnerbaits for $3.47
Yamamoto Senkos for $3.99
Gam Superline EWG 25ct for $8.99
Various jigs for $2.99
I filled up three sacks worth for less than the cost to fill up my truck. True story.

I got in on some bargains at the Wichita Falls Academy. The best one being a whopper plopper marked down from $15 to #5 and some Yamoto Senko's for $3.79

Academy in Austin feels like they are trying to go online only with most of their fishing baits. Low inventory!

Stopped by a couple today, picked up some 5/0 Gamakatsu hooks for just over $2 a pack, also got the last two packs of a fav color baby brush hogs for around $2. Otherwise not much left that I had interest in.

I found lots of deals last week. Figured they were all cleaned out by now.
I got:
5 pack Road Runners-$1.99
Bobby Garland Slab Hunt R-$1.99
Z Man Ned Heads-$1.99-$2.49
Original Chatter Baits-$2.29-$2.49
Strike King swim bait heads- $1.99
Lot of crappie stuff for $.99ea
I even bought some sort of "Take Me Too" pan fish kits for $5 each that were normally $20. They had more than $5 worth of Bobby Garland crappie baits in them and they came in a $6 3600 tackle box so that was a no brainer. LOL! And I already caught 100 catfish on the cork that was in the box as well.
They had tons of spinner baits and jigs over 50% off but I have a life time supply so I left those for you guys.

Every now and then they'll have their badass sale. Literally buying bags of Zoom plastics for 49 cents. Good ones too like brush hogs and finese worms
