 out of state fishing license

When the pros fish out of state do they buy non resident license, is that just part of the expenses of pro fishing?

When I was in the Air Force back in the 70's I did a lot of traveling. At one time I had 8 different states fishing license. A game warden stopped me on Bull Shoals and ask for my license. I pulled out all 8 and was looking for the Arkansas one. He asked what I did for a living and after I told him he told me to put them up and forget about it. Tournament fishing was in its early stage then. Not many people with 8 fishing license.

I think most states charge around $60 for them. The cost of doing business.
Being that i am over 65 i can fish in Louisiana with my Texas license and they can fish here with there La. license.

probably buy a yearly for the states they will be fishing, compared to their other expenses that is likely a minor one.

I just bought an Arkansas license to fish last week. It was $16 for 3 days, $25 for 7 days, or $50 for a calendar year.
