Not sure how accessible it is, saw signs that said catch and release only while walking up to Flying Fish to eat Sunday. While looking at the lake from the patio I saw at least 12-15 carp on the surface of the water swimming around. Not sure if anyone has targeted North Lake at all but just wanted to let yall know.

I work 5 minutes from there and go from time to time. I have targeted bass and crappie there and never had an issue with people running me off. You can walk quite a ways around it so there's plenty of bank to roam. Have seen others out there with fly rods on occasion. That little hole has quite the selection of species in it. No shortage of carp in there at all.

Grapevine creek has some good fishing in it also, across Belt line from the lake.
