Friend called me said he heard a boat was struck by lightning on Fork in Glade today and one died. Anybody heard anything about it

It was mentioned and confirmed on one of the Lake Fork Facebook pages. Man was struck and killed. Seems like a random freak storm passed through the area as a lot of people didn't notice anything. Reports of 80 mph winds. Lake Fork Resort took some damage and the store had windows broken.

Watched Mike McFarland's lake report video and he talked about it. It was up in Glade and the guys got caught out and they beached the boat and apparently they were on shore when one of them were struck and killed by lightening. They were from out of state. Lake Fork Resort was struck by the same storm and did some damage. A couple in a 5th wheel were injured when it was rolled by the wind.
