That’s what I’ve been using the most of lately was just a 1/8 black tungsten.

I have used black tungsten forever but recently started to prefer green pumpkin. It seems to blend better with all colors and looks more natural (to me anyway). As far as weight goes I open the box and choose based off the size that looks right under the conditions im fishing. Half the time im not even sure how much it weighs but most of the time its pretty small.

3/8 by far is my most used. Use 1/2 often as well.

You couldn’t pay me to use anything less than 3/8, I would go insane fishing that slow.

Same here. Plus I think a bigger weight transmits the bottom better.

fishing it under 8' the fall rate is pretty important...and fishing slow is my bread and butter....I will fish right behind a burner down a section of cover and catch fish when they did not

I use the lightest weight I can get by with and still, feel contact with the bottom.

That is 2 way street though as not all fish are the same. For as many that want it slow there are many that react to a faster fall. We catch fish behind Senko soakers all the time.

When talking about the difference between 1/4oz and 3/16oz….pretty sure we fisherman overthink it more than the fish do. For me 1/4oz bullet weight on T-rig almost always except deep water, heavy winds or larger worms. That said: whatever works for you or whatever you have confidence in!

Beaver or craw I pitch on 5/16-3/8. Straight tail worm, baby brush hawg usually 1/4. I have never tossed a Texas rig with less than 3/16
