I've lived in Florida and Virginia for a few years, then and now Texas for 42 years. If anything I would move to a more rural, smaller city in Texas maybe but that is it. I like the State of Florida but hate the humidity. No can do. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/04/full-1606-135154-rtrtty.jpg)

Northwestern Arkansas or northwestern SC to be close to our son. However, life’s too short to live anywhere but Texas.
Some people go to church and think about fishing. Some go fishing and think about God.

Have a daughter and son in law in AR, and I like Oklahoma's atmosphere and politics. Lived in Tulsa when I was little.

I made that mistake once.

I will never leave Texas, but in order to answer the question I would pick western Kentucky. Beautiful country and friendly people.

Second Perdido Key , have several good friends in that area when we are there visiting it feels like a second home already.
Guntersville Alabama although I have never been does interest me.
Laramie , Wyoming in the summer months is my plan after age 60

If I leave Texas, it will be to go to West Texas. If I can’t go to West Texas, then I’ll go to South Texas. If South Texas and West Texas are not available, then I’ll go to North Texas.
Now if Texas becomes liberal California, I’ll then just shoot myself in the head.

for me, eastern tenn. western ky. or s.e. Okieland.
never been fond of city life and much prefer out in the country for a lot of reasons.
lived in colorado for 20 yrs. and loved it till the kalifornicators moved in and ruined it politically.
arizona would work too if around flagstaff area but fishing is really limited.
perfectly happy where I am and don't plan on relocating ever.
