They will make any bait they have in whatever color you want but you have to order a production run, I forget how many bags it is but its a lot.

This is not accurate, I emailed them a request to make a fluke in chartreuse pepper and was denied. I even told them I would buy as many as it took to make em.

It may have changed since the original owner passed away, and did they sell too? I would think its still available to tackle stores but maybe not.

Once upon a time I did really well with watermelon red and then, just like that….I can’t even catch Covid on anything that I own.

Zoom is still owned by the same family. They did not sell out.

yes I also see the pros only fish with green pumpkin etc. Sometimes color doesn't matter on soft plastics in the spring but there are many days when having the right color makes for a magical day. I find that it matters more on finesse presentations like senko's wacky worms, and drop shot. Vibrating lipless baits is another one that really matters. Color or style really matter if it is in a bait that they haven't seen before. If you have the right bait you can load the live-well behind even the best guy fishing with just green pumpkin or watermelon/red.

I remember when watermelon red was the secret color, everyone used pumpkinseed and tequila sunrise, before that it was grape.

I had good luck with Houdini for a while, but seemed to slow down as a fish catcher for me. I like Watermelon Magic now.

I stick to watermelon red, gr pumpkin, blk and blue, june bug, red bug and wht depending on condition. Oh, also love the black fluke in low light. I bought the sprayed grass speedcraw and had to pester the hell out of a bed fish in a creek to finally get bit on it. I threw that color for a while before giving up on it. Put it in my pond hopping bag to hopefully get rid of them on pond fish, eventually.

Where you able to buy every color that Zoom makes?

They no longer make the sourgrape centipede. They are a killer on a lake I like to fish when fish move deep in the summer. I bought all I could find for awhile so have a good supply.

I still see them every once in a while but only in the finesse worm, nothing else.

What colors do not catch fish? I want to avoid buying those since they are designed only to catch fishermen, as you say.

As much as I want to spill it...my favorite Zoom color hasn't been mentioned, but a few of my other go to have been.

Usually I keep it simple: Watermelon Red, GP Red, or Watermelon Candy

I do like to dip the tails of baits in JJ's chartreuse so that's another element of fun.

I've got a Trick Work color that no one else I know uses, but has been very very good to me. It's hasn't been mentioned yet.

I'm a sucker for their multi-color trick worms like Bruised Banana or Green Yellow Swirl. They seem to all work about the same to me.
