Looking to get a quote on a Livescope system. I'm not well educated in the devices, what's out there and how much they cost.
Anybody here have a ballpark estimate?

All depends on what your wanting for a head unit. Can get into it cheap with a smaller one or a lot with a bigger one. Also are you goin to be running it as a primary graph with 2d, and side imaging? If not then there is a chartplotter option that will allow you to get into the bigger units for less money.

Then you have to look at your mounting set up. I didn't think about this till i already had my units. Then 3-400 bucks later i have it set up and installed the way Im happy with.

For a livescope system and a 102sv, which is a pretty popular unit right now, you are looking at $3,150. Install pricing is going to be dependent on what boat you have and what needs to be done to it.

Livescope is an aftermarket add on to a head unit. It is literally a black box that connects to your head unit through the Ethernet port. It requires is own power and the transducer connects to the black box and is powered from there. Its basically the brain box for the transducer and Livescope system. All the head unit does is display what the black box is reading when you go to the livescope option on the screen.

The black box is a smaller box that is found between the transducer and the head unit and is usually installed out of the way in a rod box or other storage compartment.

It depends on the size screen you want. I have 2200 in my 7 inch setup. You can spend all the way up and over 3 k for the bigger screens. Be sure to shop around. I got my stuff separate and on sale so I saved a ton more money than if I would have bought it all as a package from some big place

They start at around 2k and go up from there depending on size and features you want from the unit.
