Its already making me think twice about my tournament schedule for the remainder of the year. Had a 2 day touranment at Ivie this weekend. 2 tanks of gas in the truck and 50 gallons in the boat I was in for almost 400 this past weekend. And it wasn't as high as it is now.

Tip: start saving your money now, we’re gonna need it later. The rainy day is gonna hit in a few months. I hate to sound so negative, but there are some dark and scary times coming this round.

Yes, FJB for not helping us out when he could allow maximum drilling to proceed.

Well said

It just might get to that with the Idiots running the country these days. Biden shut down drilling in America early on, removed the sanctions on Russia which allowed them to continue their pipeline and then he turns around and buys fuel from Russia. Total Idiot.
Now he is blaming our gas prices on Putin. The American people need to run all Democraps out of office because they are destroying America. Democraps don't care about you or America. They only care about themselves getting rich by being corrupt.
All of them are corrupt.

Very simple solution, quit buying oil from other countries and reopen the pipeline in America. Our own fuel and putting Americans back to work. But the IDIOT DEMOCRAPS ARE AGAINST THAT. They keep talking about green energy. The are brain damaged.

I hope Dan is just trolling us, I can’t imagine that many people in America can afford $10gal fuel. Maybe he can, but most of us can’t.

I was going to Lake of the Pines to practice for a tournament about a month ago and it was the first road trip with the new rig. I realized after I fueled up in Sulphur Springs and got just north of Bob Sandlin near Mount Vernon the amount of money I had budgeted for fuel wasn't going to cover the trip so I called my wife and told her there was a change of plans, I was headed for Sandlin. I have a tournament coming up there as well. On the way back I got on I-30 and followed some of those governed 18 wheelers @ 65 mph. I got close enough to get rid of some of the wind resistance and my fuel consumption numbers quit clicking off at such a rate jumping 3 and 4 miles at a time instead of 1 mile at a time without the boat. We can still get out and use our rigs, we are just going to have to get creative.

Throw in a pair of new knees and good back and I still wouldn't work for you.

123 miles for me is the closest.

Tough to know my day trips to relax are gonna cost just under $90 each trip....if I go today. Once gas hits $4.50 ill be at a cool hundy to fill up my gas tank. Havent filled up the boat in over a month....NOT looking forward to the ethanol free gas price next time. It was in the high 3s when gas was high 1s and 2 dollar range. Figure itll be 6-7 bucks a gallon right now.

Ethanol free should be the cheapest out there.
