Just left firewheel in rowlett creek. Fishing was great, caught 10 in about an hour. What was not great was that while I was fishing a Garland Police officer came down and told me to move my vehicle otherwise I would receive the ticket. I was parked in the standard area that empty lot where 30 to 40 cars are during the run.Apparently the land has been bought there's a sign up there saying 5 acres for sale a company by multiple no trespassing signs. The message I got was people that parked there will now be ticketed. Park it you're on risk, I'm sure they'll be a lot of tickets handed out tomorrow and next weekend good luck

Hope they write a bunch of littering, public intoxication, no fishing license, and a host of other tickets as well. That place has been ruined by low lifes the last few years.

where rowlett creek crosses firewheel pkwy. There is a big dirt lot with new signs saying no tresspassing. Usually this time of year it has 20-40 cars now it has 10 -15 cars and a cop car writing tickets.

take an uber or get dropped off. the fishing is on fiiirrrreeee!!

Park at the mall and walk. Not that far.

I drove by there this morning and there was only 3 cars so I guess the cops had just run everyone off.
Came back by around 5 and there was about 25 cars and a cop car right behind me as I drove by. I assume he went down there to write tickets or run everyone off because when I got to the stop light he was gone. There is a rumor floating around they will be towing this weekend like they were about a week ago.

Surveyors and even more no trespassing signs have been spotted at the empty lot at freewheel.

I'm guessing the owner is going to put up a fence, especially after some [censored] left a truck load shingles ( garbage ) on there.

Sooner or later they are going to start ticketing and towing.

You can go anywhere there is a whitebass run and everywhere you look it's trashed.
Places to fish from the bank are getting harder and harder to find, and soon they will all be fenced off!

IT happened! Went to firewheel right before the storm , only 3 -4 cars in the lot.
When i got down to the water and the east side of the creek only had 4 or five people at the hole, and the west side had about 20.
One of the people i see there all the time yelled across asking where i was parked. I said i got dropped off.
He said good because cars got towed that day.

I hope everyone who reads this forum also read the multiple no trespassing and no parking signs and were not towed.
Im surprised that a fence hasn't got put up yet.

BTW someone pully a full sized striper out yesterday. Like over two feet.
Another person caught a hybrid but it looked small in comparison.

I drove by last Saturday and there were 20 or more cars parked there. It made me wonder if they were really enforcing the No Parking
