Made a quick trip to Fayette yesterday, didn't do a lot of catching, but I did catch one that had some line in it's mouth when I landed it. When I started to cut the line I noticed a little bit of a bait sticking out of it's gullet. I got my forceps and gently pulled on the bait and it came out with no resistance. I guess it came out pulling the hook backwards. But anyway, the fish was doing well when I released her. Oh, she weighed 5-2.

Vogey, all I had with me was my phone. I'm sure I will be drug over the coals from a lot of experts saying the fish doesn't weigh 5 pounds. But that's what my scales said and I'm sticking with it. All those pics where the person is holding them at arms length TOWARD the camera making items look bigger need to learn that holding items at arms length AWAY from the camera makes them look smaller.
It weighed 5-2 on my scales and was 18" long. I also had a 4 pound that was 17 inches long.
