Just to be a little more specific, it's 3 miles south of Quitman on 37. Going south it will be on the left side of the road right before the bridge over Lake Fork Creek.

The Grub House in the center of Sulphur springs is very good also for dinner.

Seths....you could eat a a dirtier place last time I was there but it would be hard to find one. Can’t really see the lure but a bunch seem to like it. Verona’s is decent for Italian. Lake Fork Marina or Oak Ridge for lunch break.

Are Dos Charros or El Manna in Emory any good? I think they are both pretty good. El Manna might have a slight edge on most food items but Dos Charros serves cold beer and margaritas and I haven’t had a bad plate there either.

This... It is east Texas, so service may not be the best, but the food is GREAT! I have always had great service here. Big Smith gets my vote for food overall and for an appetizer order the twisters. For food and atmosphere, it's hard to beat Oakridge and the view of the lake from the west end of the dining room, I go there for my birthday to eat a meal and watch the sun set across the lake, nothing in the area more relaxing. Oh and make sure to get an order on onion rings @ Oakridge, either as a side or full order as a meal. If I'm around Fork fishing that is usually where I eat. For steak go to Sulphur Springs to the Corner Grub House or the Redneck Bar and Grill.

In and around Emory/Yantis: Big Smiths for BBQ and meats- Thurs-Sat they always have all you can eat options. EL Manna for Mexican hands down, and Verona’s for Italian. Oak ridge is good, Stacy’s in millers grove is a good buffet, and Brashears General store is very cool- cash only, really good food.
