They used to have a big orange buoy tied to them...

correct but as long as you stay on the lane you should be fine from what everyone is saying. I do think that if the marker is 20 feet off of the tree that isn't good.

SRA had a marker buoy on that stump several years back. Not sure why they took it off. Its a nasty one!

Birch widow-maker = N32 54.513, W95 38.678. Vick's Boatlane is 175ft on other side of SRA buoy-line from this.
SRA buoy-line in front of Clarkson = N32 52.777, W95 36.739. Was checking on it and motor bumped it.

I think that second one is the real issue since it is on main lake! Thanks. The first one is a good to know but as long as you are ON the lane you would be fine.
