Where are you buying your tackle from now? I always used tackle warehouse but with all the problems they’ve had I’m thinking about trying someone else.

I’ve started using Fishin’ World in Dallas. They have good selection.

Land Big Fish is a good alternative. I'm still using Tackle Warehouse, just using PayPal to pay from now on.

I don't know about everyone else in different locations, but it is getting harder and harder for me to walk into a store to find what I want. Academy sucks. Bass Pro Shops is a shell of what it used to be. There is one Cabela's; it is 68 miles from my house. Dick's is terrible. Sports Authority is gone. Gander Mountain is now Camping World.

I did go into a Field and Stream today and it seemed to be well-stocked but the closest one is 3 miles away.

Online is about the only option left nowadays. Then comes the waiting.

The days are over where if you needed a bag of Flukes or Power Worms you could just walk into a WallyMart, BPS, Cabelas, etc and actually find it. I looked for 4 months last year for a certain color Speed Craw and couldnt find it anywhere. When it came in stock I ordered enough of them that they had to delay and review my order because it was considered excessive. roflmao Same thing happend with some 3X #6 hooks I needed for some custom builds I make. Looked for months before I could find them. I couldnt even find them on Ebay.

Regardless of where you order from I would highly recommend you order more than you need because you never know when you might find it again. Right now who I order from is mostly dictated by who actually has what I need.

Yep. I'm done with BPS and the inflated prices and poor selection. Academy can pound sand after my daughter bought me a gift card from them for my Birthday that wouldn't work. They wanted to see her bank statement for proof! Academy will never get another dime from me. All of the above suck also. I've heard some good thing about LBF. Anyone buying from tackle direct?

LandBigFish, Discount Tackle, Tackle Direct have all treated me really well with zero issues thus far.

Discount Tackle is great for what they have but selection is not as good as TW. I use LBF too.

Land Big Fish, but their inventory is spotty, they are always having sales. No tax and free shipping over $50, not a bad deal, if they have it.

Midway USA has really stepped up their game in fishing gear. Great prices and really prompt shipping and a great selection. Old Harry Potterfield knows what he’s doing. I also use land big fish and tackle warehouse when they have sales.

Sportsmans Outfitters and Tackle Warehouse. I have had zero issues with Tackle Warehouse, ever.

Brannon's Bass Shop in Powderly, Texas. They have a website and are really pleasant to deal with. They have good selections and are pretty well stocked given the state of the economy and manufacturing production VS COVID. Jimmy Ballard and his wife own Brannon's. I worked with Jimmy for about 25 years. He and his wife are really good people.
