Well, I did it. I was in my Cabela's this morning and I ordered a new boat! In four months (give or take) I will be the proud owner of a brand new 2022 Tracker Targa V 19 Combo! Congratulations Tim!!!That is totally awesome buddy! Those are some of the best aluminum Catfishing boats around. Love those deep v boats for all these big water Texas lakes we fish! Canโt wait to fish in that thing!

Fantastic!!  I went out of town to view a used Tracker Targa V18 this past week, the smaller version of the boat, and it is a stunning boat and HUGE!! The new Targa's are beautifully finished and very well equipped. They have some really cool features including rear 'jump seats' (the V19 has three rows of seats), capacious side storage bins, an offset instrument cluster with room for a huge fish finder, and a ton of other goodies. You are gunna love that boat, Tim. Of course the ' Tim the Catfish Guide' stories will be bigger now - lol! Dock Holiday - love it! The Cat's Whiskers would be my vote!

Coming up with the boat name is a ton of fun. I kicked around a bunch of names before settling on The War Machine. I recommend fishing in it for a month before getting a decal and settling on a name. The name you settle on will often come to you after doing battle. Some of the names I was kicking around were Reelz Gone Wild, Get Bent, Hammer Down, Hammer Time, Slime Time, Hooked Up, Take Down.

One of my favorite catfish boat names... believe its on the stern of Texas Bluecat state record holder. Isn't Cody's Falcon the "Happy Hooker"? I used to have a Targa v17, called it the Sea Donkey, wasn't big enough to be a thoroughbred. Considered calling my current boat the "Heavy Hooker" since its over 4K but landed on C-monster from a friend instead. I have never officially put a decal on the side of one and made it legit, but I'll agree there's some merit in giving the boat a name. Follow up with a post when you nail the name down! Congrats on the new boat, dang good feeling to get a new ship.
