I tie these myself. The Bass world has yet to catch on to the power of flashabou. I retrieve low and slow in deeper water, with stops and starts. I also fish through wood, brush, and grass. [Linked Image]

Keep it simple, bigger trailer the more lift. Heavier head the deeper it will go. I do adjust the length of my skirt to not cover up the moving parts of the trailer.

Yankee Bass;
Great looking jigs!
Do you cast your own heads?
If not, can you tell us where you get those?
Look like "Tactical Bassin" heads but haven't seen any with weed guards like that.

They are the TB heads, I drilled a hole and added 65# Fluoro to make a guard.

how much? i like vertical line ties for my waters (rocky) and like a swim jig with more weight toward the lower half of the jighead....this one checks both boxes. Can i get a few whites like in the pic?

LOL I am left handed and right hand reels work perfect for me. I cast left handed and start cranking. Reeling a left handed reel is just too weird for me. I also crank a spinning reel with my right hand, that is when I use a spinning set up which is very rare.

I understand. One of my fishing partners uses LH reels. Everytime I pick one up I am like, Dude!
