If you’ll go to YouTube and type in. Fisherman harassed me while fishing and I lost my cool. Anyone know the [censored] in the Triton? LOL. That’s just like the guys on here talking a lot of [censored] about what they would have done but when there’s nothing but air and opportunity you find that they are all bark. Ridiculous how people react to unimportant stuff like fishing. Right? Lots of guys teaching others manners with guns and azz whoppings from in front of their computer screens. Me in my 20's & 30's.... Me in my 40's & 50's... ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/02/full-6127-127202-laughoutloud.jpg)

Every single one of these threads is exactly same. HS kids, new boaters, bent rod pattern, keyboard heroes, vandalism advocates - yet I rarely see anything happening on the water. Maybe I'm just fishing the dead areas? When I feel like I may be "crowding" someone, I just ask if I can duck in behind them. Almost every time it has been "sure" and a "thanks for asking" with a couple of times that guys have told me that they were going to make another pass back through - in which case, I just wave and bow out. Communication is everything. Every single one of these threads is exactly same. I may be the only one that feels this way but if a few more arse whuppins' were handed out at boat ramps and on the water a lot of this nonsense would stop.
I try my best to be courteous on the waterand then try not little bad apples get me too riled up but there are times I think a good throat punch would go a long way in making this mess settle down.

These guys think they are chasing a dream to be pro- and you happen to be in their way. They watch the pros fish and somehow read themselves into the story line.😆

I think some people honestly do not realize there is an etiquette to these things. Some don't care. Have had guides do it as well on various lakes.

And I don’t cut people off, tend to use the golden rule.😉

I'd have just idled up to him and said what you just typed in a very polite way. If he took an attitude or acted like an [censored] about it, he'd get to practice changing trailer tire(s) when he finished up his fishing trip. The (s) would be determined how he responded.
If you wanna be a bad [censored] settle it face to face not like a little beach slitting tires. Funny after all these years still have the same keyboard commandos. Talking smack like they’re the biggest baddest dude on the water. There’s always someone bigger and badder and I am not going to fight over a fishing spot and I bet the majority wouldn’t either even if they get their keyboards out and fantasize on how tough they are in cyber space. Just idle around him and keep fishing. Thats not true, somebodys gotta be the baddest. LeRoy Brown is the baddest in the whole dam town.

I seen one of those on the Monticello boat ramp back in the 70's, back when you had to wait 2 hours in line to launch. Everybody rigged their boat down while you were sitting in line (for 2 hours) Of course there was one knuckle head that waited til he got to the ramp, pulled up, backed to the edge of the ramp & started getting his boat ready. The guy behind him got out of his truck, started mouthing & the fight was on. There wasn't much to the fight, just a few punch's but the guy in front of us got his point across. That gave Me and my Dad something to laugh about all day.
