I'll ask you the question, how many boat houses away from you could he have pulled and not upset you?

It more fun to fish behind people and holler and scream every time you catch one laugh

All this anger and vitriol over a fishin' spot. I get it, but. . . Life if too short, too precious, and too fragile to allow bad etiquette lead to something you can't stop. Life is not like a DVR, there is NO rewind.

Doing this is exactly why he will continue to be a jerk to anyone on the water, and this reasoning is exactly why the world is full of them. He knows with a little lip, some people will just move on and he gets what he wants,........ Are you a man or a mouse???

You were already fishing that spot, he can go fish the rest of the lake.

At 25 I would have gotten into it with him. About 25 years later I realized it wasn’t worth the time or trouble. It’s like trying to rehab a liberal. You can’t.

This is not about anger or hate, it is about right and wrong. This is a good example (although to a way lesser degree) of what is going on in America today. Criminals are no longer held accountable for their actions, and they are let go to continue committing crimes again and again. If you turn and run when you are confronted by someone that is clearly in the wrong then you are helping that person be a bully to the next person he encounters and it will go on and on. Its all about right and wrong. What angers me is how in toadys times that criminals are left to run free and do as they please. In California criminals can walk into a store, fill a trash bag bull of stuff (stealing) and just walk out the door. That is as wrong as it can be..but it is allowed now. How is that fair to the store owner?

Right and Wrong. . . Fairness. . . All fair points, but. . . My post is just to say, if we are wronged, or If we are treated unfairly, is it Really worth the possibility of not going home to our family because a guy pulled too close to the place I was fishing.

Your response went FAR afield from the point of my response. Once again, life is too short, precious and fragile for me to be the Right and Wrong Police, or the Fairness Police to make sure these guys know they have done wrong. I spent 29 long years in Federal Law Enforcement fighting the good fight. Fighting to come home every day to my family. I’m certainly not going to fight the Bad fight over a fishin’ hole.

All he has to do is ask if I mind if he fishes there also. Just be respectful and I am good with that.

He was busy rigging so he didn't notice my cast until the fish hit the side of his boat and came through his boat.

He looks up at me like WTH?? I said Oh man! Sorry I didn't see you there! I unhooked the fish and threw right back over his rig. He got the message and move about 50 yards down.

That’s hilarious! Didn’t stand trial for shooting someone? Didn’t escalate their rudeness into your being arrested for attacking someone? Sweet revenge and legal! Greatness

If you’ll go to YouTube and type in. Fisherman harassed me while fishing and I lost my cool. Anyone know the [censored] in the Triton?
