Palomar, tie it correctly and no issues. I'd like to edit, I tie the Palomar for everything except flipping hooks. For them I use a snell knot. +1

No love for the Trilene Knot?
It’s easy to tie and the tag end stays out of the way.

Palomar, tie it correctly and no issues. +1 I also use the Pitzen knot and the double Pitzen for large swim baits.

Apparently I use the Shaw Grigsby knot, but I saw if from a Zona show and he wrapped it 5 times, not 3. I absolutely cannot keep a palomar knot from snapping, apparently I’m crossing the lines and it’s burning through themselves.

I absolutely cannot keep a palomar knot from snapping, apparently I’m crossing the lines and it’s burning through themselves. With a Palomar knot make sure your double lines are parallel then tie an overhand knot, again keeping the lines parallel. Then let the loop fall back against your fingers that are holding the hook or bait. Then lightly pull the knot back away from the eyelet forming a figure 8. Slowly cinch down the knot and keep pulling it back away from the eyelet. The figure 8 will get smaller and smaller as you cinch it down. Now make sure that the loop tightens down between the eyelet and the knot. That is the correct way to tie the Palomar knot and it will work just fine every time, if you do it correctly. If the lines cross with fluorocarbon line,,,it will break.

More wraps for thinner line.

Miller knot, have used it last year and has not broken once. Mark Daniels Jr has a video on it, seems tricky at first but easy and quick once you get used to it. I tell myself two away and loop towards to help me tie it right.

The one with three tag ends. Have no idea what it is called but I have never had it fail.
