I like all of it. I’m sure God does as well and that’s all that probably matters.

It seems like most of the services I have been to play the same songs in the same order. They seem to elicit strong emotion to the point of bringing people into a trance. Music can be emotional. Most Christian music is emotional. I kind of feel like I being manipulated when I go to these services.
I don’t like it. In some aspects you are correct, remember God appeals to your intellect, the devil appeals to your heart.

A lot of it's good, but you can only say God is great so many ways, and it all sounds the same.

Read Jeremiah Chapter 17- think of Jesus and all of his speaking in parables- you had to be a thinker to get his message, the emotional always missed it. Look at Paul and all his writings to the Gentiles.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding Proverbs 3:5. Correct. You have one verse that says trust in your heart, another says the heart is above all deceitful. That’s where we get in trouble when we get worked up emotionally. The parables required you to think and not act emotionally- by thinkers I didn’t mean people of higher intelligence.

We'll just have to agree to disagree, and that's OK too.
