Let's not forget our aging over paid RB whose legs are shot.

I was listening to one of the radio guys, he said that Moore is a play caller only, he has no scheme, that makes a lot of sense. The O line is ok at pass blocking but they are horrible at run blocking, yes Zeke is not what he once was, he does have a torn ligament in his knee since game 5, but I doubt Derrick henry could have done a lot better, when you get hit in the backfield most of the time it makes it tough to establish a run game. One thing i have finally learned this year, do not put a lot of stock into what the reporters are saying about players, they built several up through training camp and early on in the season, some of those players did not come close to the hype they received.

No run game and 14 penalities for 89 yards ain't gonna win many football games.

I already pointed out Zeke is here for 2 more seasons no matter what due to his contract.......they can make 60 to 70 million in cap space if they want.....I know the roster is going to look different but they are far from being in cap hell

Agreed. I just pointed out that they do have major cap issues next year - no way they can keep everyone they have unless someone else's deal gets restructured. Maybe Dak? Does that look smart at this point?

They need to bottom out and get some top draft picks at discount prices if they want to be competitive. 6-6 against non-nfc-east teams isn't SB caliber. If they want to get to that point, you can't be overpaying underperformers at both RB and QB. Need to cut zeke, regardless of the cost, and start looking for Dak's long-term replacement in the draft.

But jerry is more interested in money than winning, so none of this really matters. The guy who makes the calls doesn't have the same goal as the fans do

Cowboys are currently projected to be $13M over the cap next without signing a single draft pick or free agent.

What difference does it make? You play who they say you play...Brady played a cream puff division schedule for 18 years....didn't seem to bother him

Yep but Brady and Bill stepped their game up in the playoffs and won SB’s Dallas doesn’t ever step up when it’s needed to win big games
Dallas will never be what the Patriot teams where during the Brady and Bill creampuff playing days
I thought the boys were playing their best football in years but they just couldn’t get past themselves when it counted

When you coach a team for over 10 years led by one of top quarterbacks of all times and manage to win 1 Super Bowl, you have to admit McCarthy has led a charmed life. It was a mistake to hire him and it would be a mistake not to fire him.

They just as well keep McCarthy for one more season, if he flops they can go get Peyton from the Saints, but you still need a QB, just saying.

I saw Mickey Spagnola last night actually whining that the officials "robbed" the Cowboys of a chance to win the game at the end. No, the umpire has to touch and place the ball before every play. This isn't make it take it pickup basketball, where you score a basket and then immediately throw the ball in to one of your teammates. Has anyone ever seen a team run a play, spot it themselves, and run another play without the officials touching the ball? No, because it never happens.

What robbed the Cowboys of a chance to throw the ball into the end zone was a stupid play call. Who runs the ball with 14 seconds left and no timeouts? No one with any sense.
