Brings back memories of being young and dumb. I was working a compressor rebuild after it thru a connecting rod and cracked a 12 foot flywheel when it suddenly stopped turning. We had worked in a cold winter rain for several days and they finally built a plastic and scaffold pole shack to block the wind. One morning it was around 20° and the Forman came around and saw me sweating and coughing and sent me to medical. I was running 103° fever, they did a chest X-Ray and found out I had pneumonia. They sent me home with antibiotics and said if I wasn't better in a few days to go to the hospital. Spent a couple of days in the bed, felt better on the weekend and was back at work on Monday. The company had really strict rules on missing work, so we always came to work sick.

My wife friend who runs a hospital locally would also agree. She said the number of people rushing to the hospital to get tested for minor cold symptoms is gridlocking their entire system. Her exact words were if you have cold like symptoms right now- you most likely have it. They just made it a scary name to continue to try and control the American people. No need to get a test. This one is a cold guys.... the previous ones obviously more serious. This one is contagious as a MF but they made the lab batch before they released this one a bit on the weaker side. Everybody deep breath and whiskey.

This is the worst sore throat I've had in a long while. Three plus days of severe pain. Couldn't even drink water. Nyquil was the only relief. I'm finally getting past the worst of the sore throat.

Meh, religous people think when ones time is up it's up, while I'm not overly religious I subscribe to this. There isnt a way to avoid it. I did stay home for 3 days as it was xmas...... other than some last minute shopping at Buccess. I figure all their bathroom chemicals render the whole place sterile.

Whiskey neat was the only thing that made my throat better and sore throat def my worse symptom if I had to even pick one. Wife lost smell and taste but that has its benefits if you ask me.
