I had what I normally would have called a head cold about a week ago. It was fairly bad relative to other colds, but the bad symptoms cleared up after about 36 hours, and I wouldn't describe them as severe. Filled up lots of kleenexes and and went to bed early a couple nights in a row, and have been taking decongestants to clear up my nose.

Virus? I'd say definitely. COVID? Maybe, but only because of how the omicron symptoms are being described. Either way, no reason to think I need to test.

I'm going in for round 2 of the antibody study soon. Zero antibodies in round 1, so if antibodies show up I'll take that as confirmation that I had it.

UPDATE: Antibody test came back positive. So the cold I had for 2 days was indeed Covid.

I miss the days when men just took ibuprofen, dayquil,expectorant and went to work like a zombie. I sure miss those tough guys. No test,no sex,no beer just pills,work,sleep rinse and repeat until all was gone. Sometimes it lasted 2 months here during January and February.
