By the way does the flu still exist are do we just call it something else now a days ? Influenza outbreak is ongoing since November . . . just like every year except 2020.

STOP with the nonstop testing! Why do people think they need to test every other day? Geez just live your life, if your sick stay home. Never could have imagined that this country was so full of paranoid poontangs. One of my guys just asked me if he could go get tested. I asked if he was feeling bad, he said no... I mentioned if he planned on getting tested everyday, it could be a problem and he said it's just for peace of mind. I don't get it... He's bought into the fear thingy! Sheep-like. Or in other words they have him conditioned. People like him are the reason this nation ran out of 500M test kits in the last 6 weeks. how about pro and college sports. they use them daily for everyone involved. screw us.

I had cold/flu/sinus infection symptoms between Thanksgiving and Christmas pretty much gone by Christmas. I did not even consider getting tested. Might have been COVID who knows but I had the jabs and it went away like a normal virus of that type. Only thing I took was some Mucinex and it did seem to help. I don’t get the testing for every little sniffle either.

New variant on the way. reported in france. A French variant will be easily defeated. Now that's funny. Daughter was super sick about 2 months ago with the Covid. Healthy 26 yr old had a three day 103 up to 105 fever and we almost put her in the hospital. Got the Regeneron therapy and got her first decent night of sleep that night and started feeling better the next day after the IV therapy. Yesterday morning said she started feeling fever and it spiked to 103 - went downhill fast. Got tested late evening and it was Covid AGAIN. Woke up this morning and fever has broke. Throat is scratchy but it is not in her chest like first time and her energy hasn't been zapped like first time. No sneezes and sniffles just a hard fever and scratchy throat. So she has beat it back twice. Doctor said she has most likely had both varieties. In both instances, her soon to be fiancé hasn't had any symptoms and hasn't had the vax. I only share because I think it is interesting that she has had it twice. Both times with high fever. And both times her significant other hasn't had a sniffle. This is some weird [censored] for sure.I can identify with her illness. Of course I had my well documented case (documented here on the OT) in April 2020. Then in early Oct Mrs RayBob, who has been exposed hundreds of times doing face to face interviews pre-surgery with patients in her little 10'x12' office finally came down with it (pretty sick for a week). Well I got sick on her 3rd day of illness with the same symptoms. She had had a positive rapid test and a negative flu swab. We were both pretty sick but no high fevers. Then right before Christmas our 19 yo daughter got sick. Quarantined in her room (Her BF had been sick several days earlier). The, like clockwork, right before New Year oldest son got sick, got a positive swab, came home rode it out. Right after him, middle son got it, then last Friday I became symptomatic. Sat. fever 103 and barely responsive to tylenol and Advil. Pretty sick that day, Sunday a little better. Symptoms the much the same, 3-4 days fever , cough, sore/scratchy throat, some headache, wiped out energy. Pretty contagious.

Hallelujah! Now we can wait until the next test.

Never could have imagined that this country was so full of paranoid poontangs. Well said SIR Some employers have in in their coming back to work standards and by default then when symptomatic one will have to be swabbed for diagnostics. Clinics and providers have been swabbing for influenza and strep for decades. I'm cool with swabbing as a diagnostic tool. But swabbing because you're "scared" and "just want to be safe" is stoopid !

yeah it took my boss & Mother out for a week pretty minor You work for your mom? Another quorstion is are you trying to hook them up? I can see introducing them to each other but taking them out everyday for a week seems like overkill !
