Anyone, other than me, having trouble getting their plates for a new car? Bought a new Acura in August and still no plates. The folks at Vandergriff are zero help

Some gov offices are still milking the pandemic. I did, however, get my DL that was due NEXT JUNE a couple days ago online. Took about 4 days from payment to receiving it in the mail. They said it could take 30-60 days. Haha.

We bought and sold a vehicle two months ago. It took about 3 weeks to receive the plates.
Your local DMV should be able to check their system.
If taxes have been paid to the County tax assessor they may be able to cancel any plates in transit and re-issue while you wait.
Only suggestion I can think of.

They were stolen from your mailbox and someone in South Dallas is driving around with them on their car.
