Riding around in Dallas drinking a few beers in my buddies street legal rail dune buggy we must have had more than we thought because we woke up on the beach on Mustang Island. That ride home was brutal.

I woke up driving east in the west bound lanes of 620. How I got through and not stopped in Lakeway is a mystery.

I could write a book on this subject.

1. I totaled 2 vehicles in one night
2. I stole a Frito-Lay truck and did donuts in it.
3. my friends left me passed out in a road ditch, finally came back to get me. I never knew of this story until 25 years later.
4. I woke up in a different state and didn't remember how I got there.
5. Woke up with two different shoes on, neither one belonged to me. lost a $500 pair of boots that night.
6. Woke up frozen to the sidewalk in front of my parents house.... I hadn't lived there in 3 or 4 years.
7. peed in my wife's crockpot , peed in a clothes hamper, insisted my wife stop the car to pee..... walked off a bridge 15 feet in the air.
8. made love to a squatch. or that's what she looked like... I went into stealth mode and escaped West Tawokini
9. Got throwed in jail the night before my youngest 2nd birthday. was bailed out in time for the party
10. was so drunk at my wedding the preacher almost refused to marry us. 35 years and still married. my wife is a saint.

foot note... never missed a day of work or was late because of it, to this date no DUI. I've been extremely lucky.

I can't remember any sober days in the 6 years I dated or was married to my first wife

We got a few professionals here in the OT.

When I traveled for business, I had sense enough to keep things in check. But when I'm with my wife or friends, I've been known to cross that line. Now days I don't travel for business. All of my rowdy friends have either gone low key or passed away. The only one I will drink with in public is my wife. She knows if she sees me switch to hard liquor, have a shot of anything or drink a Budweiser product it is time to go home.

I kidnapped an Asian guy and stole his car one night. Left his car in front of my hotel with him in the back seat wondering wtf happened.


That was this year's story.

Larry the Cable Guy said he was so messed up one night that he took a cab home.
He said it was real interesting, cause he’d never driven a cab before.

Lets just say very.

After my Son's wedding, we went to Giddings to celebrate with the parents family. Had a nice dinner and sat on the porch drinking when they pulled out a mason jar of bootleg shine that he got from West Virginia. I put away 90% of the jar and knew I was in trouble when I went to pee and staggered there and back. We were spending the night so I went to bed and passed out. The next morning I stopped at the Buccee's and got a large water and chugged it and felt like I got drunk all over again. That was a long drive home.
