Good to hear that they are expected to recover, that is all that matters now.

Not calling anyone out, just quoting an off topic post. Keep on topic for this one please, plenty of other areas to go off topic .

I don’t know either of these guys beyond seeing them at tournaments and usually hearing their names called when checks are being passed out. Like many I’m curious to hear the details, only so I can do my part to make sure it doesn’t happen to me. I know it’ll come out in due time, for now Janel and I will continue to send prayers up for both Scott and Brady.

Seems like recovery by water would make more sense. Winching over those boulders gotta be difficult.

Glad to hear they will recover! I think most people who drive bass boats have had some type of near-miss or incident. My scariest was leaving Twin Coves on Lake Grapevine after a working man's tournament. It was dark and there were two kayakers with no lights near the mouth of the cove. We had just passed the no-wake buoy, were getting on plane and the kayaks were right in our path. I had to make a hard turn to miss them. I came incredibly close to running over both of them. You can never be too safe on the water.

Prayers up for these guys!

The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

Them tow guys seem to enjoy tearing sh#t up, I've got experience with that on a vehicle, always have your cell phone out and make it known your going to record them loading a vehicle up their wrecker.

The few times I've had near misses also involved not having proper lighting.
