Or just buy some McCoys fishing line. I swithced from using Trilene XT for years. I was talking with a gentleman at the lake & he suggested using McCoy's. We tried it & love it. Had my line on for over 8 months & have not had to use the bumper pull stretch method once. Good stuff.

Remove lables and glue from spool.Put spool in water submerge at room temp... for about week then spool up

If you're using a spinning reel try light braid. Some like braid on levelwinds, but I prefer monofilament on them. I tried some light braid on my little BFS Aldebaran, but didn't care for it. You may find that it works for you.

I started using McCoys about 5 years ago, haven't considered anything else since.
