TFL tournament. First thing in the morning and he decided to not try it and turn around. In the low light looking back towards the sun rise he thought it was water, but it was a silted in sand/muck bar.

Sounds like you know them, were they able to go back and dig it out? Looks like it would be quite a job.

Equipment retrieved yesterday will attempt removal of boat on Friday. I'm suprised it's still there. Pretty sure there using airboats for this.

Yup. now the smooth line making a turn makes sense. Id make more fun of these guys....but instincts do make you hammer down! LOL I ran aground once and that was my first instinct! bang

He had to have had a Mercury to made it that far on dry land? 🤔😂

Not sure if they will have to pay for the helicopter ride or not. Good chance they will.

Depends on what type of coverage he has, if he even has insurance. Amazing how may don't.
