Headed out after church this morning. Got bait and started drifting from the the west end North of Collin Park. 20 minutes in #6 rod gets slammed. Wyatt starts reeling it in and it ends up being his new PB. 25 feet of water. 60 degree surface temp cloudy and warm. A little while after the PB, wind turned hard out of the North. Waves were rolling at 3' and then some on the way back to the marina. I had a good fish come unbuttoned. just as I got him to the boat. All in all, I was thrilled for Wyatt. Almost forgot, he weighed 26 pounds! ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/11/full-115968-118798-img_2808.jpg)

Fantastic Wyatt. Good job getting him on it Tim. You have Lavon figured out. What depth did you find your bait? We are going to try to go out to Twok Wednesday.

Love it Tim! PBs trips are always the best trips! Jax got his PB 26 last year when he was Wyattโs same age! Those boys are 2 peas in a pod I tell ya! Jaxonโs 26 swam straight to the boat and practically jumped in the net! I let him tangle with a 38 this summer but he couldnโt budge it and gave up. Nothing funner than watching your lil tornado wrestle a Toad! Congratulations buddy! Weโre headed up to Mighty Texoma to fish Saturday!

Wow!
Youโre telling me he was able to wrestle that toad to the boat? That is so awesome!
Congrats to the young angler!

How cool is that?
That fish looks as big as he is - lol!
I couldn't fish yesterday but saw that wind come up and wondered if you were out in that. Ouch!
PS that fish looks in great shape.

Fantastic Wyatt. Good job getting him on it Tim. You have Lavon figured out. What depth did you find your bait? We are going to try to go out to Twok Wednesday. Honestly we found some pretty good size shad up shallow. They were right on the shore line on the north side of a little cove. I threw at some that were deep but only managed a few and then hit a good net load in the shallow water.

I haven't posted a video in a while because my editing software is giving me trouble. I do have video of him reeling this thing in. Once I figure out the issue with my software, I'll put the video up...
