May emerger in mid molt. I think this would be the most irresistible fly I ever tied. I think almost any shallow Texas limestone body of water type fish with a predatory disposition. As it would seem to be "an easy access or apparent minimal expense - high value target" for any hungry carnivore that happens to see it. IMHO anyways LOL!!!

Looks like an overgrown water boatman with the long "oar legs", which is a very effective fly spring and fall.
Though it also looks like stonefly with the absence of the slick shiney back of the boatman.
Both imitations are very effective.
No fly box should be without them.

Thanks banker. I tied a few more.....

Here are two I tied with a mystery box I received in the mail. The fly box is from the printed logo on the lid

Yep the pocket fly box was a surprise gift inside the mystery box. It, along with all of the tying materials were of high quality, generous quantity, and were of season appropriate colors. BTW nice touch if intentional. Lucky me if not. LOL!!! Actually, either way works for me. Now I finally have my spring flies all packed up and ready to go. One tin of hoppers and poppers and another with baitfish. Everything in-between (35 flies) now reside within my new pocket box. GRIN

The picture below is actually from their website but it represented the box I received well.

My box contained bags of hooks size 10, 12, 14, 18 and size 20. 5 bags of beads, silver wire, green thread. yellow hen's cape, silver rainbow tinsel, black woolie bugger hackles, salmon Chaniel and more. All for a reasonable price and it's from Canada so you won't have the China region delays. So I can honestly say "Relatively fast shipping".
