While we're whining about Bass Champs.........

Was it really necessary for them to schedule their Rayburn Championship on top of the Media Bass Championship which is there (and has been scheduled since January) the same weekend ???

That was sure nice of them.

With the price of gas. It will take some money for the Bass Champs (Pavilion/Twin dikes) guys to run up north and the Media Guys (Jacksonhill)to run down south. LOL

Is this the WCW. "World Class Whiners" thread. If so good. I say Bass Champs North should not go to Cedar Creek, Tawakoni or Lewisville for 4 years. They should go to new lakes every year that they have not been fished in the past once all lakes in the area have been fished then they can start the cycle over. I think it unfair the North goes to Cedar Creek every year thats a lot of miles for me to have to cover just to go fish someone else's home water then Tawakoni as well. I should be able to atleast get up and drive to an event in less then 20 minutes or it is not fair. Lewisville should not ever show up again because we all know who is going to win so thats not fair either. It is all so not fair that I may have to take off boat 268 and not have first shot at anything. I picked up my New Boat I am calling the Rain Maker because it has rained every day since I picked it up. We had record floods in Cooke and Grayson County and the Marble Falls area. We are on our I believe 15th day or more of rain in a row and thats not fair either by the way and all the ramps at Texoma are under water or soon to be.

I think I might just go up the Ray Hubbard River and end it all by fighting an Ork over a carp.

Bored to Death do to Storms agian
and Texoma just recieved another round of heavy rain.

Here's my whine---why is it called a championship? Anyone that wanted to could qualify. Looks to me to be just another tournament.

Probably going to skip the trip to Rayburn.

it gives everyone the opertunity that showed up and made the effort to enjoy 1 last shot at fame and fortune. how many checks did you cash? would you have qualified for the CHAMPIONSHIP? i guess if it is that big of a deal everyone should stay at home or sell there boats because they apparently cant afford there hobby..just my opinion..oh i'll be at rayburn, why not i qualified.

As I am sure most of you understand (but for those that don't) Money makes the world go round, more people at the championship means more economic impact for the host city - even trails you would not consider big (not us) work deals with the local authorities to pay the tournament promoters cash money to bring a championship to their town (the impacts to the local economies are really much more than you would think)

I think we all should just be thankful we don't live in an area that has really any fisheries that compare to being forced to fish the Classic in Pittsburg (the BMC from a few years ago)

(and yes I know this is the cheese to go with all the whine)

Ian
