No, it is postponed for now. They are working hard to either reschedule for early 2022 or compensate the qualified anglers. So no championship... maybe and '22 will have a schedule even though it may not. Okie dokie.

Maybe Luke Dunkin will shed some light on these questions on his podcast. Since he is one of their announcers I would think he would have some info. Just not sure he would or can talk about it.

What's the reason for postponing the championship? Cash flow problems I wonder if the anglers asked for audited financials. Not that they have to provide it, but I am sure people are curious what went on. I assume they did not get the sponsorship backing they had hoped for.

Look guys the NPFL is a new business started up during the biggest pandemic this world has ever seen, there are going to be some hiccups. The main thing is that they are going to be ok, they will take care of the qualified anglers and make changes so that future problems are avoided. I'm proud to be a part of an organization that is transparent with their anglers and when they mess up they own up to it and say we messed up but they learn from their mistakes and move on. There are 20 new anglers coming onboard for next year with some big names mixed in, the 2022 schedule will be released soon as well as a press release about the championship.
