I think they were trying to start a private fishing club and manage it for trophy bass and bluegill. They had a booth at a hunting and fishing day at Bass Pro. The annual fee allowed you access but they were going to limit a small number of boats on any given day. You had to have a reservation. Weekends were going to be the same as through the week with the limited boats. Since I was still working I was not interested. This was sometime in the mid-2000"s. I dont know if anything ever came of it or if and how you can get access.

35 yrs ago my grandfather ran a dragline for them, before he went out on his own. the fishing was pretty much...…...WOW of course we let all the bass go, but we did catch channel/yellows to eat. we just used mann's jelly worms and tiny topedos. one evening my pop's rod darted off the back into the drink before he could get to it. they are deep/steep. the next day pops hook a nice catfish and it was tangled in his line from the day before. got his rod back..
