caught multiple 6+ on drop shot 15lb braid to 12lb floro leader. Roboworms, or Zoom finess. If I'm drop shotting wood, I'll even use 15lb leader. On Fork, line size doesn't matter much so why chance losing a fish on smaller line. On a clear grass lake like Welsh it does and I fish 10 or 12.

closest I get to finesse is a shaky head - don't know if that counts.......
Had a 9.22 a few weeks ago, one over 6 and another almost 6 last Saturday.

caught a 9lb6oz on spinning rod with 6lb line and a rapala....it was on lake wildwood/macon,ga. and i was fishing next to the dam that has a road going across...it was late afternoon, lot of people getting off work and driving across the dam when i hooked this fish....car were stopping and watching me fighting the fish...it took a long time because once I saw how big the fish was plus I hadn't retied recently so i just kept light pressure on the fish and let it swim...
seemed like it took forever til it wore down and I could get it in boat...when i did and held it up for people to see, they were cheering and car horns blowing....pretty unique experience....put fish in livewell and took it to nearby grocery store to weigh then released it back in the lake...wish i would had a camera.....

My Senko fishing style isn't exactly "finesse," but I did pull a 6-something off a dock on a wacky rig. Had several in the 4-5 lb range as well.

I won a Media Solo on Cedar Creek not long ago throwing 4” Yamamoto Senkos, weightless, on 8lb line and a spinning rod. Skipping docks. Biggest that day was around 7-8 pounds. I forget. But I had over 17lbs with four fish. I kept breaking off BIG fish that day on dock pilings. roflmao go figure.

3 pounds 3 ounces on a 5 foot ultralight, trigger spin closed face reel, 4lb test flouro, bobber stop, float, 1/80th ounce jig head, with a single Gulp wax worm larva. Recently too. Think I posted about it on here somewhere.

I've come to believe that I probably hooked a sunfish as intended and the bass went after the sunfish. I don't know.

10.1 lb - trout fishing a small California lake. 4# test ultra-light rig on rainbow powerbait. Did not put up a fight in the slightest (air temp was in the low 30's, water temp low 50's)....I actually thought I was pulling in a dead log.
